Amenities Available for Your St. Petersburg Bus Rental
Different trips call for different setups — and with a wide network of vehicle options, you can match the bus to the occasion. Party buses in the 15-to-50 passenger range typically come with color-changing LED lighting, a built-in bar area, perimeter seating, Bluetooth sound systems, and flat-panel TVs. Sprinter limos and vans are a great fit for smaller groups who want premium leather seating, USB charging at every seat, and tinted privacy windows without going full party bus.
For corporate shuttles, school trips, and multi-day travel, a minibus brings powerful A/C and reclining seats at a leaner price point, while a full charter bus adds undercarriage luggage bays and onboard restrooms — clutch on a two-hour run to Orlando or back from a late-night event in Ybor City. Amenities vary by vehicle and provider, but the quote tool lets you filter and compare so you find exactly what fits your group.

Stop Calling Around — Compare St. Petersburg Party Buses Here
Booking group transportation in St. Petersburg used to mean a full afternoon of phone calls — dialing company after company, re-explaining your trip to whoever picked up, hoping someone had availability on your date. Tampapartybusrental.com exists to replace that entire scramble with one form and a results page. You put in your date, headcount, and pickup location — and instead of a single quote from a single company, you get options from a network of providers serving Pinellas County, side by side.
There's no account to create, no obligation to book, and no minimum spend just to see pricing. A support team is available every day of the year to answer questions, walk you through vehicle differences, or build a custom package around your itinerary. St. Petersburg Party Bus Rentals for Your Occasion

St. Petersburg Airport Shuttles & Transportation
St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) (14700 Terminal Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33762) sits about eight miles north of downtown St. Petersburg on Roosevelt Boulevard — a quick, straightforward ride under normal conditions, but a real headache on Sundays in the summer when US-19 near Gandy backs up. For groups flying into Tampa International Airport (TPA) (4100 George J Bean Pkwy, Tampa, FL 33607), the crossing over the Howard Frankland Bridge or Gandy Bridge adds 25–45 minutes depending on time of day, and rideshare surge pricing during peak departure windows can make per-person costs climb fast.
A St. Petersburg airport shuttle bus rental puts the whole group in one vehicle — no juggling Ubers in two waves, no one waiting at the curb while bags are still on the carousel. Gather your group at the baggage claim level, step outside, and the bus is already staged. Call 813-864-5330 to set up your Tampa Bay airport group transfer today!

St. Petersburg Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
The stretch of Central Avenue between downtown St. Pete and the Grand Central District is one of the best bar-hop corridors in all of Florida — a walkable mile of craft cocktail bars, rooftop spots, and live music venues that runs well past midnight. Popular stops include The Birchwood (340 Beach Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701) for rooftop cocktails over Tampa Bay, the Green Bench Brewing taproom, and the ever-rotating lineup of new spots along 600–800 Central Ave.
A St. Petersburg bachelorette party bus keeps the whole group together as the night evolves — no splitting into two rideshares when the first bar closes, no debating who's navigating to the next stop. Party buses seating 15 to 40 typically come with LED lighting, Bluetooth sound, and a bar setup that matches the energy of the night well before the first venue. Call 813-864-5330 to check availability for your date!

St. Petersburg Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival is still one of the most memorable ways to roll up to a milestone birthday celebration in St. Pete — and the city has no shortage of venues worth arriving in style for. Sweet 16s and quinceañeras regularly take place at event spaces along 4th Street N and in the broader Pinellas County corridor, and birthday party buses seating 15 to 50 can be matched to nearly any headcount.
For adult milestone birthdays, a night that starts with dinner on Beach Drive NE and ends at a late-night lounge downtown is perfectly sized for a 25-passenger party bus — everyone boards together, toasts on the ride, and nobody has to park. Weekend rates for a 25-passenger bus run roughly $275–$375 per hour — split across 20 guests, that's a very reasonable tab for a night nobody will stop talking about. Use the quote tool or call 813-864-5330 to check your date!

St. Petersburg Concert Transportation & Shuttles
St. Petersburg's live music scene runs year-round, anchored by Jannus Live (200 1st Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701) — an open-air courtyard venue that holds around 2,000 and draws national touring acts through downtown, where metered street parking is limited and enforcement runs until 8 PM. The Mahaffey Theater (400 1st St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33701) hosts larger shows with waterfront views, and the parking garages along 2nd Avenue fill well before showtime on busy nights.
Bigger productions draw Tampa Bay crowds over to MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa — a 20,000-capacity shed where the post-show lot exit onto Channelside Drive can stretch 45 minutes. A St. Petersburg concert bus rental handles the route both ways, drops your group at the entrance, and has you moving before the lot even clears. Call 813-864-5330 for concert bus pricing across the Tampa Bay area!

St. Petersburg Corporate Event Transportation
St. Petersburg's convention and meeting scene is centered around the Duke Energy Center for the Arts — Mahaffey Theater campus and the waterfront meeting facilities along Beach Drive, with major events also pulling corporate groups across the bay to the Tampa Convention Center (333 S Franklin St, Tampa, FL 33602). Shuttling a team of 30 back and forth across the Howard Frankland Bridge during rush hour — when the westbound span can stall for 40 minutes — is exactly the kind of logistics problem a St. Petersburg corporate charter bus eliminates.
For smaller executive transfers between downtown hotels and the Albert Whitted Airport area, or recurring employee shuttle routes between St. Pete campuses, a minibus offers better maneuverability on downtown's one-way grid while keeping the whole team on the same timeline. Call 813-864-5330 to talk through a custom corporate shuttle package!

St. Petersburg Private Event Transportation Services
St. Petersburg's event calendar stacks up fast — and the city's biggest annual gatherings all create the same transportation problem: too many people, not enough parking, and rideshare pricing that spikes right when you need it most. The St. Pete Food & Wine Festival brings thousands of visitors to the waterfront each January, with Beach Drive closures between 1st and 5th Avenue NE that push vehicle traffic blocks inland. The St. Petersburg International Film Festival each November draws film-industry crowds to venues across downtown, and the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg each March — a street race that physically closes miles of downtown roads — turns the city's grid into a maze for anyone trying to get in or out by car.
A St. Petersburg private charter bus rental sidesteps the lot scramble entirely: your group stages at a pre-agreed pickup point outside the closure zone, boards together, and arrives at the event perimeter without circling. For the Grand Prix weekend specifically, book at minimum 8–10 weeks out — it's the tightest availability window in the Tampa Bay calendar.

St. Petersburg Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Pinellas County — typically running late April through mid-May — is the single highest-demand window for party bus rentals in the St. Petersburg area. Lakewood High School, St. Petersburg High School, Gibbs High School, and Pinellas County's magnet programs all schedule events within a compressed 5-to-6-week stretch, and the best buses go fast once the school calendar drops.
For prom: book by January or expect premium pricing and shrinking availability by March. Waiting until April is a real gamble — demand spikes sharply and the gap between early-booking and last-minute rates can run $300–$700 on a full evening rental. Tampapartybusrental.com makes it easy to compare buses, lock in the vehicle you want, and hand off the transportation piece entirely. Call 813-864-5330 now to check what's still available for your prom date!

St. Petersburg School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers, administrators, and event planners across Pinellas County know the logistical math doesn't favor car pools and yellow school buses for longer trips. The Mahaffey Theater student matinee series and day trips to the Museum of Science & Innovation (MOSI) (4801 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL 33617) in Tampa require crossing the bay — and a 45-minute crossing on the Gandy with a school group in multiple vehicles is a coordination problem a single St. Petersburg school charter bus simply eliminates.
Charter buses serving student groups include onboard PA systems, climate control, overhead storage for backpacks and equipment, and available ADA-accessible configurations — just flag it when you request your quote. For Pinellas County field trips, a 40-to-56 passenger charter bus typically runs $200–$350 per hour, making per-student costs easy to build into a trip budget. Call 813-864-5330 to check availability!

St. Petersburg Sporting Event Transportation
Tampa Bay Rays fans crossing from St. Pete to Tropicana Field (1 Tropicana Dr, St. Petersburg, FL 33705) face a parking situation that surprises first-timers: Trop's surface lots are the primary parking option, priced around $15–$25 per vehicle on game days, and the I-175 off-ramp approach backs up well before first pitch on weekend games. A St. Petersburg charter bus drops your fan group directly at the designated bus area near the stadium's south lots — no lot hunting, no car splitting, and the postgame crawl back to I-275 is completely someone else's problem.
For groups making the trip over to Amalie Arena in Tampa for Lightning games or to Raymond James Stadium for Buccaneers home games, the Howard Frankland Bridge westbound is the standard approach — and on a 4 PM kickoff Sunday, it can stall for 40-plus minutes. A Tampa Bay sports charter bus handles that bridge run together, builds the pregame energy on the way over, and has your group moving again before the parking lot even opens up. Call 813-864-5330 to set up your game-day group transfer!

St. Petersburg Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
St. Petersburg is one of Florida's most popular wedding destinations — the waterfront venues along Beach Drive, the historic Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg (501 5th Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701), and outdoor spaces like Sunken Gardens (1825 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704) all draw couples who want that salt-air backdrop without the South Beach price tag. The logistical catch: many of these venues are spread across a compact downtown grid where valet lines back up and guest parking is a genuine puzzle on weekend evenings.
A St. Petersburg wedding shuttle bus solves the guest parking problem by removing it entirely. Your guests board at the hotel block — say, the Vinoy or the Hyatt Place downtown — and the bus runs a loop between there and the ceremony and reception venues all evening. A minibus handles 20–30 guests cleanly and fits the one-way streets around downtown St. Pete without the turning-radius issues a full charter bus creates.
Call 813-864-5330 to plan your wedding shuttle circuit!

St. Petersburg Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Pinellas County has developed a genuinely fun craft brewery and winery loop over the last several years, and a St. Petersburg winery tour bus rental is the only sane way to run it. 3 Daughters Brewing (222 22nd St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712) is one of the anchor stops — a 20,000-square-foot taproom with a large outdoor beer garden, live music on weekends, and a good-sized food menu. Drafted Dog Brewing and CorkScrew Wine Bar & Emporium on Central Avenue round out a strong afternoon circuit.
For groups venturing north into Dunedin — home to 7vines Winery (932 Broadway, Dunedin, FL 34698) and Dunedin Brewery (937 Douglas Ave, Dunedin, FL 34698), Florida's oldest craft brewery — the narrow parking situation along Main Street and Broadway makes driving the whole loop genuinely impractical. A bus stages in the municipal lot while your group walks the strip, and nobody has to cut a tasting short because they're the one driving home. Call 813-864-5330 to build your Pinellas County tasting tour itinerary!

How much does a party bus cost in St. Petersburg?
St. Petersburg party bus rental prices depend on the vehicle size, day of the week, and total hours. As a general planning range: a 15-passenger party bus runs $200–$350 per hour on weekdays and $250–$350 on weekends. A 25-passenger party bus runs roughly $275–$375 per hour on weekends.
A 50-passenger party bus runs $300–$500 per hour on weekends. A full 56-passenger charter bus typically falls between $200–$350 per hour with day rates from $1,350–$2,850. Real pricing for your specific trip comes from the quote form — and you can have a number in under a minute.
Where do buses drop off at Tropicana Field?
Tropicana Field (1 Tropicana Dr, St. Petersburg, FL 33705) is surrounded by surface lots on its south and west sides, and commercial vehicles typically use the 16th Street S approach. The stadium's parking page is the best real-time source for current lot assignments and any road closures on game days — we recommend checking the official Rays transportation page before your visit to confirm current bus drop-off and staging guidance. Your group avoids the lot-hunting entirely since the bus handles the approach and picks you up post-game at an agreed-upon curb point.
How does the Howard Frankland Bridge affect group travel between St. Pete and Tampa?
The Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275) is the primary crossing between St. Petersburg and Tampa, and westbound traffic on Sunday evenings — particularly after NFL games or major events at Amalie Arena — can stall for 30–45 minutes in the merge zone near the I-4 interchange. The alternate Gandy Bridge (US-92) shaves some distance for groups going to South Tampa but dumps onto surface streets that have their own delays. For large groups, a charter bus crosses once together rather than sending six cars that get separated by signal timing and end up arriving 20 minutes apart.
What is the best vehicle size for a downtown St. Pete bar crawl?
For a bar hop along Central Avenue or the Beach Drive corridor, a 25-passenger party bus or 28-passenger party bus is the sweet spot for most groups. It fits the typical bachelorette or birthday group of 15–25, navigates St. Pete's one-way downtown grid without the turning challenges of a full charter bus, and typically comes with LED lighting and a Bluetooth sound system built in. Weekend rates for a 25-passenger bus run $275–$375 per hour — split across 20 people, that's roughly $14–$19 per person per hour for the ride.
Can a charter bus get to Dunedin, Clearwater Beach, or Tarpon Springs?
Yes — the network serves all of Pinellas County and into Pasco County. Clearwater Beach (connected to the mainland via the Memorial Causeway) has designated commercial vehicle drop-off near the beach parking complex, and Tarpon Springs — about 35 miles north of downtown St. Pete on US-19 — is a popular group destination for the Sponge Docks along Dodecanese Boulevard, where street parking for larger groups is essentially nonexistent. A charter bus or minibus stages in the municipal lot area while your group explores the district, and the drive up US-19 is far more relaxed with the whole group in one vehicle.
How far in advance should I book a St. Petersburg party bus?
For most events — birthdays, bar crawls, wedding shuttles, sports trips — booking four to eight weeks out gives you solid vehicle selection and normal pricing. For the highest-demand windows, book significantly earlier: Gasparilla in Tampa (late January/February) and the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg (March) are the two dates where the network tightens fastest, and waiting until two weeks out means premium pricing or no availability in your size range. Prom season (April–May) is the tightest window of the year for party buses specifically — book by January for prom or expect sharply limited options by spring.
Call 813-864-5330 right now to check what's open for your date!
Popular St. Petersburg Party Bus Destinations
A St. Petersburg bus itinerary can anchor to world-class museums, a beloved waterfront ballpark, Florida's oldest craft brewery town, and one of the country's most photographed arts districts — all within 40 minutes of downtown. Here are six destinations your group will want to plan around.

Tropicana Field
Tropicana Field (1 Tropicana Dr, St. Petersburg, FL 33705) is home to the Tampa Bay Rays and sits at the corner of I-175 and 16th Street S in downtown St. Pete. The stadium holds approximately 25,000 for baseball and hosts concerts and events year-round. Surface lot parking surrounds the venue, with lots labeled by color along the south and west perimeter — the Blue Lot off 16th Street S is the primary commercial vehicle approach.
Rideshare staging moves around by event, and on high-attendance games the I-175 ramp backs onto surface streets before first pitch. A St. Petersburg sports charter bus bypasses the ramp entirely by using the 16th Street approach, drops your group at the pedestrian plaza, and picks everyone up post-game before the lot traffic moves. Check the Rays official transportation page for current lot and drop-off assignments before game day.
Phone: (727) 825-3137

The Salvador Dalí Museum
The Salvador Dalí Museum (1 Dali Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33701) sits on the waterfront at the foot of 1st Street S, just south of the Mahaffey Theater — it holds the most comprehensive collection of Dalí's work outside of Spain, with over 2,400 works spanning his entire career. The museum is open daily 10 AM–6 PM, with extended Thursday hours until 8 PM. Group admission for 20 or more can be arranged in advance through the museum's group sales line at (727) 823-3767.
Parking near the museum is metered street parking along 2nd Street S and paid lots in the surrounding blocks — none of which comfortably stage a bus. Commercial vehicles typically drop off on 1st Street S curbside and stage in the surface lot area nearby during visits. A minibus fits this corridor cleanly.

Jannus Live
Jannus Live (200 1st Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701) is St. Pete's premier outdoor concert venue — an open-air courtyard in the heart of downtown holding around 2,000 guests, framed by the brick buildings of the Park Street block. Shows here sell out regularly, from national touring indie acts to Florida-circuit country and hip-hop headliners. The venue is entirely surrounded by downtown's one-way grid, and the nearest parking structures along 2nd Avenue N fill by 6 PM on show nights.
Street parking enforcement runs until 8 PM on metered blocks, and the short window between meter expiration and showtime creates a scramble. A St. Petersburg concert charter bus or party bus drops your group directly on 1st Avenue N steps from the courtyard entrance, eliminating the lot hunt entirely. Post-show rideshare surge on 1st Avenue typically runs 1.5–2x for 20–30 minutes after close.

Sunken Gardens
Sunken Gardens (1825 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704) is one of Florida's oldest roadside attractions — a botanical garden featuring more than 50,000 tropical plants across a natural sinkhole landscape, operating since 1903 and now owned by the City of St. Petersburg. Open Monday through Saturday 10 AM–4:30 PM and Sunday noon–4:30 PM. General admission runs $15 for adults, $10 for children 3–12.
Sunken Gardens is one of the most popular wedding ceremony and event rental venues in St. Pete — weekend evening buyouts are common, and the 4th Street N corridor has very limited street parking on event nights. The venue's own lot holds limited vehicles, and 4th Street surface options nearby fill quickly for large weddings. A St. Petersburg wedding shuttle minibus loops guests from downtown hotel blocks along 5th Avenue NE directly to the 4th Street entrance — no guest parking coordination required.
Group reservations: (727) 551-3102

3 Daughters Brewing
3 Daughters Brewing (222 22nd St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712) is St. Pete's largest brewery by footprint — a 20,000-square-foot facility in the Warehouse Arts District with an outdoor beer garden, rotating food truck lineup, and live music most Friday and Saturday evenings. It's the anchor stop for nearly every Pinellas County brewery tour, and weekend evenings see the parking lot on 22nd Street fill well before the music starts. The Warehouse Arts District itself is a mix of artist studios, event spaces, and galleries — neighboring stops like Craft + Adventure and surrounding studio galleries are all walkable from the 3 Daughters lot.
A St. Petersburg pub crawl party bus or minibus stages in the surface lot adjacent to the taproom during your visit, then rolls the group to the next stop without anyone navigating 22nd Street late at night. Live music nights: typically Friday–Sunday starting at 7 PM. Phone: (727) 495-6002

The Vinoy Renaissance Resort
The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club (501 5th Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701) is the most recognizable building on the St. Pete waterfront — a 1925 Mediterranean Revival landmark with 360 guest rooms, a full marina, two pools, and event and ballroom space that hosts some of the largest weddings and corporate galas in Pinellas County. The property's valet entrance is on 5th Avenue NE, and the surrounding Beach Drive corridor on weekend evenings is metered and congested — self-parking for large wedding guest counts is genuinely difficult within two blocks. A wedding shuttle minibus or small charter bus loops guests continuously between the hotel block and the event space without anyone paying beach-adjacent garage rates or walking four blocks in formal wear.
For corporate events, a charter bus running a hotel-to-Vinoy circuit before a seated dinner is a clean executive move. Group events: (727) 894-1000
